Quote:
The Quran does, however, encourage reference to earlier books in order to see what it is confirming

Quote:
As a result, it seems best to infer that the meaning of this phrase is derived from that of the gospel.

What a decieving!
The Quran clearly says that earlier books have been corrupted.
Quote:
In addition, it seems to me from common sense that the 'word of God' is inseparable from God and therefore divine.

This is also retarded and illogical. Let's look at a verse from the Quran;
مريم (آية:17): فاتخذت من دونهم حجابا فارسلنا اليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا
And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. [19:17]
The spirit in this verse clearly refers to Jibreel/Gabriel, and so according to this confused Christian's wicked logic, Jibreel must have had divine attributes! Which is of course false.

Brother Windsor

on Faithfreedom web site, you will find plenty of those deluded and confused dumb bums, most of these web sites content btw is nothing but total crap, bickering, fights, confusion and repetitions, see how I'm keeping them at bay from infecting free-islam, this is because free-islam is not going to be like such web sites (even Muslim ones) the typical forums crap that teach no one nothing

in here people will ask the question then they will get the answer inshaallah, they will not be allowed to repeat their questions nor their arguments and most importantly the answers they will get are going to be from the Quran alone

please join FFI and see for yourself the amount of daily crap posted there

Take care

# there are many verses that in themselves are enough to debunk any claim of christ being the son of god in quran; and one of the verses which u posted is a good enough example of being a case in point:

Quote:
3:59 The likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was.

...the likeness of christ is adam (a human being); and there ends any claim of christ being hailed as divine in the quran!

## take care...salam!

Yeh man, however with the goons of FFI you need to present your strongest argument so you don't give them any chances to manipulate, here is a link to the debate mate, I'm still waiting for his reply:

I visited that forum only twice, and both were by mere chance.
First time was several years ago, I think in 2002. I was simply shocked. I never thought that some people would set up whole sites just to attack the faith of many many other people. Second time was last year, and the forum seemed to be totally crap and gone down the hill over the years. I saw your arguement with that Pablo guy about rape in the Quran. Funny how he tried to corner you with his either yes or no question!! That site is not about ex"Muslims" as much as it's about hypocritical Christians who like fishing in dirty water. I truly despise them.

I.e. Isa is the word of Allah, the word is BE and he was without the need of a man to sleep with Mary, exactly like Adam who was also the word of Allah, which is BE and he was without the need of a man and a woman sleeping together, we are informed that this word of Allah (BE) was thrown unto Mary as we will see in the next verse you brought in:

RIVER goes by!WIND runs by!BABY you~pass by without why!
