Almost all religions teaches love and peace, thats exactly what we try to teach our kids. When childern grow up they have enough brains to choose whatever way they want. I say this cos many times we see ppl of extreme cults leave their cults and their teaching.

So yes religion is good for kids. It helps them to imagine, think, ponder. I would stress that childern should be allowed to discuss their thinkings. instead of nailing religion into their brains.

When my son was 3yrs old he used to question, is God bigger than this truck, bigger than this building, bigger than the mountain, where is He, what does He looks like and so on. Now hes 5 and couple of months back he had a talk with friend in school, who told him that god is a dog. My son replied ''you are dogs malik/master so he cannot be God''.
What I mean to say is, we should teach religion to kids freely and let them learn from their arguments.

# i dunno...honestly...
as far as the study goes, i think it's not broad enough to actually be significant...that's what i think, as i already stated! also, it should perhaps say that parents who are well-behaved are more likely to have well-behaving children as compared to their ill-behaved counterparts...that's probably the strongest conclusion i could draw from that study...but maybe i missed something!
# salam, bud...take care!
